Uh huh! Lovely strike from Ronaldo this morning. The best way to describe it was how Cch sms me. ”He shot from very far, flew in like a rocket, no like laser.” Like laser?? Go figure.
I think the goal was from 40 yards. About 36 metres shot. Thats quite a good goal even by his high standards. The goal was enough to seal our passage to the semi finals. And you couldnt say we didnt deserve to go through. We played a very tactical game (read: boring), but the positive thing was that every sticked to their respective roles. Ronaldo had a good enough game, since he had not much support as a lone striker, so we have to give it to him. For me, Rooney was magnificent. But not on the attack front, but on the discipline and will power. He was practically a right back, and you could see that he track back very often till at the end of the first half he look rather tired. But my man of the match goes to Johnny O Shea. Boy was he good. Rio Ferdinand look shaky, maybe due to the lack of match practise. But O Shea was always there to back him up. He didnt give away the ball much unlike some other players like a particular Anderson-son-son. His inexperience in the big league shows in this game. Crappy stuff from a crappy player. Giggs also played well, you could see his skill. But you could also see he really old already. His pace is like Matt Le Tissier? Hahaha. Vidic was also playing great, but it seems that he is doing this game in game out that its like the norm. Evra is crappy, just like the whole season. Bebartove was average. And last but not least, Carrick – who?
The road to victory not only lies in ones ability. The luck factor is also important. Of course if you work hard you can make some luck. Other than that, its the man above who makes the decisions. I have to commend the ref of the game, he held strong. Wasnt intimidated. I felt he had a good game.
Problem for United now is, we are riding on a lot of luck. And it will run out sooner rather than later. We need to get our act together. Play some flowing football, the full backs should over lap more often. Play the UNITED way man! Cause we are not going to beat Arsenal in the semis if we play like this.
Enough of football, the most exciting part is coming up right now. My life.
This week is quite a good week I would say. Yesterday i went to eat with a friend, went to TCC. The baked rice is crap. Don’t eat it! But they had a good promotional offer. If you use UOB credit card, the other main course meal is freeee.
After that went to Peranakan place. Its between center point and HMV. Somewhere along there lah. I think that place consist of about 3 pubs in a area. All own by the same boss. All the concept is about the same. But it’s a chill out place, not those disco disco place. Quite good i would say, definitely will go there again.
After that I went home, it was about 1.30am. By the time i bathe, it was already 2am. So i decided to read the book i bought for Cch (sorry mate, couldn’t help it) while waiting for the Man U game to start, cause i worried i couldnt wake up for the match. The book is titled ”Provided you don’t kiss me.” I read the first 2 chapters, thumbs totally up. Quite a good book, easy read too. After the Man U game ended, it was about 5am. I had to wake up at about 7.30am, so i decided, tmd don’t sleep already lah. Might as well study till 7.30am then go work straight. Damn gung-ho right. But now i damn shag, super regret. Haaha. Later still got a wake to attend. But still it is a must attend, so no whining is needed.
Study hard guys, and we’ll have fun after the exams period.
